Why all the ponies?

So, I just realized that almost all of my art is fan art in dress up games and character makers of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic characters. You may be wondering why that is.
Well, I finally have an answer. First of all, the "mane six" are easily recognizable characters with a variety of personality types, styles, and colors (except Pinkie Pie, who is pretty much just different shades of pink). Secondly, I do like the MLP universe and characters, so making fan art makes sense.
